Prestige Marketing worked closely with the video game developer to create a unique and immersive experience for attendees. The event was held aboard The Star of India (a sailing ship docked in San Diego, CA), which was relevant to the game's target audience as well as its pirate themed branding. The ship was decorated in a way that reflected the game's aesthetic, and there were plenty of opportunities for attendees to interact with the game. For example, there were demo stations where attendees could play the game, as well as a photo booth where attendees could take pictures with props from the game. Dinner as well as free alcoholic beverages were also served.
Prestige Marketing also captured rare and exclusive interviews as well as provide coverage of the event. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees saying that they enjoyed the game and were excited to play it when it was released. The feedback was also helpful in identifying areas where the game could be improved.
